Slots at Dominion Black Casino: Studios, Categories and Bonuses

Slots at Dominion Black

Pick the Slots quick filter and the Dominion Black lobby narrows to its 1,406 slot titles. That is still a long list, so choose a studio under Providers, a theme under Categories, or type a name into Find your game. Slots you come back to can be saved in Favourites.

The 20 games featured on the lobby’s home page are all slots, set up in Canadian dollars and marked for play on phones and computers alike (see how the casino works on a phone). They make a sensible starting point if you would rather not scroll, and our guides to 24 slots from the lobby are listed below this text.

Studios behind the slots

Studio totals in the Dominion Black lobby count every game a studio has there, slots or otherwise. Four studios supply the featured slots and the game guides on this site:

• Pragmatic Play, 149 games: twelve featured slots, such as Sugar Rush, 5 Lions Megaways and Ultra Hold and Spin, plus Buffalo King Megaways
• Microgaming, 95 games: three featured slots, namely both Mega Moolah titles and 9 Masks of Fire
• Playson, 62 games: four featured slots, including Lion Gems: Hold and Win and Supercharged Clovers
• 3 Oaks, 28 games: Black Wolf on the home page, plus Magic Clovers, 3 Clover Pots Extra and 3 Super Hot Chillies

Choosing slots by studio

Beyond the four studios above, NetEnt has the largest catalogue in the Dominion Black lobby at 157 games. Mascot and NOVOMATIC follow with 140 apiece, then Amatic with 97 and EGT with 75. Wazdan (61), Relax Gaming (45) and Quickspin (43) sit in the middle, while Play’n GO, Push Gaming and Nolimit City offer smaller ranges of 14 to 21 games.

Choosing by studio is most useful once you know a game you like. Pick its studio under Providers and the whole range opens as one list, with the count telling you in advance how long that list will be. Because the totals cover everything a studio has in the lobby, a list can include other game types as well as slots.

A featured slot is a good way in: Black Wolf leads you to 3 Oaks and its 28 games, and Energy Coins to Playson and its 62. All 36 studios, with their counts, are listed in our overview of the game lobby.

Popular categories

The Categories filter sorts the Dominion Black lobby into 48 themes. Categories span the whole lobby rather than slots alone, so a theme can include other game types too. These are the largest:

Free Spins and Buy Bonus describe games, not promotions: browsing those categories does not credit spins or bonus money. Beyond the largest groups, the categories fall into a few families:

• By format: Free Spins, Buy Bonus, Jackpots and Megaways (17)
• By theme: Animals, Fantasy, Fruits, 777’s, Diamonds and Oriental from the table, plus Egyptian (78), Sea (72), Joker (65), Books (43) and Aztec (41)
• By season: Holidays (58), Halloween (44) and Christmas (18)
• Table play: BlackJack (28) and Table Game (18), named after table games rather than slots

One name can mislead: a category called Slots exists, but it contains just 24 games. To see all 1,406, use the Slots quick filter, and turn to Categories when you want a particular theme. A slot can sit in several categories at once, so the counts overlap and are not shares of the total.

Jackpot slots

The Dominion Black lobby labels 108 games as jackpot games, and the Jackpots category holds the same number. On the lobby’s home page, only two slots are marked as jackpot games: Mega Moolah and Atlantean Treasures: Mega Moolah, both from Microgaming.

There is no Jackpots button among the quick filters, so open Categories to see the full list. This site does not publish jackpot amounts or the names of winners.

A studio name alone will not tell you which games are jackpot games. Microgaming’s 9 Masks of Fire is featured beside the two flagged titles without carrying the flag itself, so the Jackpots category remains the dependable route.

Slots and bonuses

Bonus wagering at Dominion Black can be completed on slots and on nothing else. Each welcome bonus must be wagered 40 times its bonus amount, so every bet that moves you toward that total has to be placed on a slot.

The first welcome bonus, 150% up to 1,000 CAD, comes with free spins on Big Bass Bonanza by Pragmatic Play: 50 spins for a 20 CAD deposit, 100 for 40 CAD and 150 for 80 CAD. The casino’s terms call them Complimentary Spins. Anything they win goes to your bonus balance and normally carries wagering, as the bonuses page explains.

With a bonus still running, a single live game costs you all of your active bonuses. Finish the wagering before you try the live casino.

Wagering a bonus on slots, step by step

From a bonus deposit at Dominion Black to money you can withdraw, the route on slots runs like this:

1. Pick a deposit you are comfortable playing through: the bonus, and with it the wagering, grows with the amount you pay in, up to the offer’s cap.
2. Play any free spins included with the bonus, then look at your bonus balance, since that is where their winnings land.
3. Multiply the bonus amount by 40 to find your target, the sum of slot bets still ahead of you.
4. Keep every bet on slots until you reach it. Table and arcade games leave the total where it is, and the live game rule in the note above holds until the end.
5. Check in the bonus terms how long the offer gives you, and plan your sessions so that you finish in time.
6. Ask for a withdrawal only when the wagering is complete. A request deletes any bonus that is not fully wagered, together with your cashback and Shop Points.

If the target is more than you want to bet, you do not have to take a bonus at all, and the bonus terms page also explains how cancelling one works.

What else your slot bets earn

Slots are also the only games that feed Dominion Black’s other rewards, and each reward has its own rule about which bets count:

Tournament play comes in two formats, Warmup with 500 CAD in prizes and Lucky Weekend with 700 CAD, and the tournaments page has the dates and the prize places. The cashback guide walks through the calculation, and the loyalty program page covers levels and the shop.

Keeping slot play in proportion

Several of these Dominion Black rewards grow with the amount you bet, which makes it easy to play longer than you meant to. Wagering targets ask for volume, and loyalty levels and tournament leaderboards reward it, so decide on a budget and a session length before you start, and treat any reward as an extra rather than a reason to keep spinning.

If you need a pause, the responsible gaming section on the casino site is the place to start, and self-exclusion can be arranged through support. Our responsible gaming guide sets out the options in plain terms.
