Bonuses and wagering

  • Welcome package — bonuses for a new player’s first deposits. Dominion Black’s welcome package totals up to 4,000 C$ and comes with free spins: four deposit matches (150%, 150%, 100% and 100%) with a 1,000 CAD cap on each.
  • Free spins — slot spins paid for by an offer, not your balance. The first welcome bonus adds 50, 100 or 150 of them in Big Bass Bonanza, matched to a deposit of 20, 40 or 80 CAD; their winnings arrive as bonus money.
  • Wagering requirement — the total you have to stake before bonus money turns into withdrawable cash. Dominion Black’s welcome bonuses ask for 40 times the bonus in slot bets, deposit excluded: 1,000 CAD of bets for a 25 CAD bonus. The wagering calculator runs the sum for any deposit.
  • Bonus balance — a separate balance that keeps bonus money apart from your cash. When wagering is finished, the bonus and its winnings join your main balance and become available to cash out.
  • Bonus expiry — the deadline for finishing a bonus. The default is 60 days unless the offer names another period, and wagering left unfinished when the time runs out costs you the bonus together with its winnings.
  • Maximum bet — the largest stake a bonus allows per round; casinos commonly cancel bonus winnings when it is exceeded. We quote no figure: check your offer’s terms before you play.
  • Promo code — a short code that unlocks a particular offer. Dominion Black promo codes arrive in promotional e-mails, not on the casino’s site; you type one into the Promo code box and confirm with Apply.
  • Cashback — a refund of part of your losses. Here it is based on real-money slot bets alone, paid only when they top your slot winnings; the system picks the balance, real or bonus, that receives it, and uncollected cashback can lapse after the date on the Collect button.

Loyalty levels, points and tournaments

  • Loyalty level — a tier in a rewards program. In order, the five levels at Dominion Black are Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, then Diamond. You rise automatically at each Comp Points threshold, and after long inactivity Gold and above can slip one level.
  • Comp Points (CP) — points a casino awards for play. Here they set your loyalty level: every slot bet earns CP, new accounts start with 65, and they cannot be swapped directly for bonuses.
  • Shop Points (SP) — points you spend in a rewards shop. You earn SP only on slot bets: full rate on real money, half on bonus money, ×1.3 at Platinum and ×1.5 at Diamond. They expire 30 days after crediting.
  • Loyalty Shop — a catalogue where points buy rewards. It opens at the Silver level; SP buy offers, free spins and bonuses, and each level has its own items, so some stay locked.
  • Tournament — a timed contest where the top places share a prize pool. Dominion Black’s two slot tournaments pay out 500 CAD over seven places (Warmup) and 700 CAD over six (Lucky Weekend); points follow your total bets, and prizes are bonus money.
  • Leaderboard — the running ranking of tournament players. It refreshes every 5 minutes; you can quit and rejoin later, but leaving a tournament wipes your points.

Payments and verification

  • Minimum deposit — the smallest payment a cashier accepts. For Dominion Black, our deposit guide works with 20 CAD, which is also the lowest deposit for a welcome bonus; the exact figure appears in the cashier when you pay.
  • Currency conversion — exchanging one currency for another. The casino works in CAD; a deposit in any currency besides your profile’s is exchanged at the current rate, with conversion and transaction fees charged to you.
  • Third-party payment — paying with someone else’s card or account. Deposits from friends, relatives, spouses or business partners are banned under the payment rules and can cost you your winnings; withdrawals are paid only into accounts held in your name.
  • Chargeback — asking your bank to reverse a payment. Under the deposit rules you agree not to start one, and an improper dispute can lead to a permanent block, so take payment problems to support first.
  • Processing time — how long a casino takes to approve a payout request. Dominion Black processes requests within 48 hours, not on weekends, with the transfer itself taking up to 5 business days.
  • Business day — a working weekday, usually Monday to Friday. Payout transfers are counted in business days, and a request made on a Saturday or Sunday waits until processing resumes.
  • Withdrawal limit — a cap on the amount you can withdraw over a set period. The base caps are 1,000 CAD for any 24-hour period, 5,000 CAD for 7 days and 15,000 CAD for 30 days, and senior loyalty levels come with higher ones.
  • KYC (account verification) — know your customer: checks that confirm who you are. Verification documents may include photo ID such as a passport or a driver’s licence valid for at least six more months, a selfie with it and a bank statement under three months old.

Sending a withdrawal request costs you any bonus with wagering still to do, your uncollected cashback and your whole Shop Points balance.

Games and providers

  • Slots — games of chance where you set a stake and spin for a random result. The Dominion Black lobby lists 1,406 slots, and only slot bets clear bonus wagering, earn loyalty points and count toward cashback.
  • Provider (studio) — the company that develops a casino’s games. The lobby names 36 studios, led by NetEnt (157 games) and Pragmatic Play (149), with Mascot and NOVOMATIC tied on 140.
  • Jackpot game — a game with a jackpot, a top prize apart from regular wins. The lobby counts 108, and the jackpot marker sits on two featured Microgaming slots, Atlantean Treasures: Mega Moolah and Mega Moolah.
  • Live games — games streamed in real time with a human dealer. The lobby counts 76 live games; playing one removes all active bonuses, and live bets earn no cashback or loyalty points.

Account and safer play

  • Age of majority — the age at which the law treats you as an adult. Dominion Black’s sign-up rule is at least 18, or older where that age is higher; this guide shows 19+ (18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec).
  • Responsible gaming — habits and tools that keep gambling affordable and under control. The casino’s Play Responsibly section advises deposit and time limits, breaks and never chasing losses, and support helps free of charge; see our responsible gaming guide.
  • Self-exclusion — a voluntary block on your own gambling for a set period. Ask support for any period from 1 month to 5 years; it cannot be reversed, and until it ends you are locked out of your account and may not register a new one.

Questions and answers

Do wagering, playthrough and rollover mean the same thing?

In everyday casino use, yes: all three name the total you must stake before cashing out a bonus. Dominion Black’s offers use the word wager, and for each welcome bonus the figure is 40 times the bonus, reached with slot bets alone; after that, the bonus and its winnings become withdrawable, up to any cap the offer sets.

Is 4,000 C$ the same as 4,000 CAD?

Yes. Both stand for Canadian dollars. Dominion Black writes C$ in marketing lines, such as the 4,000 C$ headline of its welcome package, and CAD in its offers and terms, as in the 1,000 CAD cap on each bonus. Canadian accounts run in CAD, so the two labels never need converting.

Are Complimentary Spins the same as free spins?

Yes. Complimentary Spins is the name the casino’s general terms use, while its offers say free spins. Whichever word you meet, the spins are paid for by the offer rather than your balance, and at Dominion Black their winnings are credited as bonus funds, which usually need wagering before you can withdraw them.

What does KYC stand for?

KYC is short for know your customer: the checks a casino runs to confirm who you are and that your payments are really yours. Dominion Black’s working rule is to have your account checked by your first payout, and a withdrawal stays pending until the requested documents are approved; our account verification guide lists them.
