Two kinds of points, two different jobs
Only one of Dominion Black’s two loyalty balances buys anything in the shop. Comp Points move you up the five levels and cannot be traded directly for bonuses; Shop Points are the currency every price tag in the shop is written in. Our guide to the Dominion Black loyalty program sets the two side by side, so this article stays with the spending balance.
The 65 points credited when you sign up are Comp Points. They count toward your first upgrade but add nothing to a shopping balance, and the casino mentions no Shop Points at sign-up.
When the shop opens
The Dominion Black Loyalty Shop opens at Silver, the first upgrade a new account can reach. The upgrade comes by itself once your Comp Points pass the Silver threshold, but we have no confirmed figure for that threshold, so we cannot say how much slot play it takes.
Once you are in, inactivity cannot close the shop under the published rules. Silver has no downgrade, and Gold, the level above it, can fall only to Silver after a long break, so a quiet spell may cost you a level but never your access. The operator can change the program without notice, so this holds only as long as the rules do.
What a break can change is the shelf: items are tied to levels, so dropping from Gold to Silver changes which items you can buy, just as moving up does.
How Shop Points are earned
The earning rules fit in one line: Dominion Black pays Shop Points on slot bets only, at the full rate for real money and half for bonus money, with ×1.3 at Platinum and ×1.5 at Diamond. The half rate deserves a closer look, because bonus money reaches an account in more ways than the welcome package:
- welcome bonus funds and whatever their free spins win, covered in our article on planning your first deposit;
- prizes from Warmup or Lucky Weekend, which are credited to the bonus balance when the tournament closes;
- cashback, whenever the system credits it to your bonus balance rather than your real one;
- winnings from free spins bought in the shop, which arrive as bonus funds like other spin winnings.
Nothing published explains how the half rate combines with the Platinum or Diamond multiplier, so do not count on a particular figure there.
How Shop Points are lost
Dominion Black takes Shop Points away in two ways: any credit still unspent 30 days after it lands is removed, and a withdrawal request clears the whole balance for good, as the withdrawal form warns. Here is how the two rules treat points credited on three different days:
| Points credited on | Removed by the 30-day rule on | If you request a withdrawal on day 25 |
|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | Day 31 | Lost 6 days early |
| Day 10 | Day 40 | Lost 15 days early |
| Day 20 | Day 50 | Lost 25 days early |
The request treats old and new points alike: all three batches go at once, including the one with 25 days still to run. Your balance also never holds points older than 30 days, so anything you save toward a pricier item has to be earned within one 30-day span.
The request itself, from the form to tracking and cancelling it, is covered in our guide to Dominion Black withdrawals.
Swapping points for a bonus just before you cash out does not save their value: most of the casino’s rewards need wagering, and a withdrawal request deletes any bonus not yet fully wagered.
Keeping the shop in proportion
Dominion Black’s shop is a by-product of slot play, not a reason for more of it. A few habits keep it that way:
- Check the expiry schedule on the shop’s main page when you log in, and spend points in time, on items you will actually use.
- Treat a bonus bought with points like any other: wager it on slots, avoid live games while it is active and wait to withdraw until it is cleared.
- Count points as a side effect: their worth depends on shop prices we cannot quote, so they are no reason to place a bet you would not otherwise make.
Questions and answers
If I cancel a withdrawal request, do my Shop Points come back?
Assume not. The withdrawal form says your Shop Points are removed permanently once a request is made, and the cancellation rules mention only the money returning to your balance. If you want to use your points, spend them before requesting a payout.
Can a long break from play lock me out of the Loyalty Shop?
Not under the current rules. The shop opens at Silver, Silver is never downgraded, and Gold drops only as far as Silver. A break can still cost you items tied to Gold or higher, and unspent points keep expiring 30 days after each credit.
Do Shop Points earned with bonus money expire sooner?
No. The 30-day rule applies to every Shop Points credit, whatever money earned it. The money type changes only how many points a bet brings in: half as many for a bonus-money bet as for the same bet placed with real money.
